Hypnosis is a state of focused consciousness.  Your hypnotherapist will assist you in learning how to achieve this state by guiding you into it.

Once this has been achieved, you will then receive what are called hypnotic suggestions.  These suggestions will enable you to use the power of hypnosis in your life and make the changes you desire.

Hypnosis is a tool that can help you just, like it has helped millions of other people to take back control of their lives.

Hypnosis can help you change old habits and to provide you with motivation to do the things that you may have been putting off.

Hypnosis has been sanctioned and used by the medical community since 1958 to help patients overcome chronic pain, create anesthesia, and heal psychogenic illnesses.

Hypnosis and self-hypnosis have been shown to be effective in reducing stress and stress-related illnesses.

Hypnosis has also been shown to help mothers give birth to their children with little or no pain.

“Reiki” (ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy, and is also a word used to describe a system of natural healing founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and introduced by Mrs. Takata to the Western world in the 1930's.

Reiki is a method of stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes self-healing on all levels of Body, Mind and Spirit.  It is based on the idea that all living things have a special energy flowing through them called "life energy".

We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being.

There are many variations of Reiki, but in essence Reiki can help the body physically, emotionally or spiritually. It is a tradition that is open to any belief system.

Reiki is a process that anyone can enjoy in the normal course of their life. Reiki can be used alongside other conventional or complementary treatment and often helps to provide emotional support during recovery.

Reiki treatment

The method of receiving Reiki is simple. The recipient remains clothed and lies on a massage table or sits on a chair and relaxes. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation. The whole person is treated rather than specific areas. Sessions can vary in length, depending on the client’s needs.

Reiki practitioners are not trained in diagnosis and will not predict any specific outcome from treatment. If people are concerned about their symptoms they should see a doctor.

What do Reiki treatments feel like?

Each person experiences Reiki differently depending on their individual needs at the time.

Clients may or may not feel sensations during a Reiki treatment. Benefits reported by recipients include deep relaxation promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well being on all levels. Some people feel sensations of heat, tingling, or experience seeing colors, whilst others can have an emotional response, indicating that shifts are taking place, allowing harmony to be restored.

The best way to "Know" Reiki is to EXPERIENCE Reiki!

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Sometimes called "acupressure for the emotions,” EFT (or "tapping”) is a highly focused form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years, but without the invasiveness of needles.

Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while the client brings their attention to distressing memories and/or symptoms - whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. -- and voice specific statements.

This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing specific statements works to clear the "short-circuit" - the emotional block -- from your body's bioenergy system, thus restoring your mind and body's balance, which is essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease.

EFT rapidly releases the emotional impact of stressful or traumatic life events from the body-mind system.

Because of its very high rate of success, the use of EFT has spread rapidly, and medical practitioners employing EFT can now be found in every corner of the country and world.
